The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Gym will move to a new and renovated space in 2024.

The gym will be relocated directly inside UPMC Williamsport’s East Entrance to make it easily accessible for patients. The space will allow for greater distance between equipment and will continue to serve both cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients.

With more than 6,700 visits annually, the gym has a tremendous impact on the health of our patients, primarily ages 50 plus. The gym serves both monitored and maintenance patients. Monitored patients are in the acute phase of their rehab and wear a heart monitor. The maintenance patients have completed the monitored phase and have chosen to continue their wellness by attending the gym independently for a nominal fee.

Susquehanna Health Foundation is seeking $1,000,000 in community support to help fund the $4-million project.
